This is the Chinese Chess engine which won the
Gold in both the 2nd and 3rd Computer Olympiad! China's 1000-year
equivalent to Western Chess is played with rather different rules,
but with some common pieces. Varients of this are played now in
China and Korea. A key difference is the limitation of the scope
of some pieces, which are confined to regions of the board. Chinese
Chess also uses an unusual definition of the "check" rule,
which requires a blocking piece to complete the check.
