From Reviewers...
There are groups out there whose job it is to provide professional reviews of game products. With just a year behind us our 3D Pool product attracted this review from the highly respected GameSpot game review site:
"(Friday Night 3D Pool)... does tend to make old-school pool games look...old-school. It isn't the backgrounds so much, which feature nifty working clocks and jukeboxes that are otherwise forgettably rendered, but it's the actual tables and balls. Accurate, graduated shading plays a big role, as do light-reflective balls and minute table imperfections. Ultimately, the general appearance seems less sterile, more convincing, and grittier than games of the past..."
"...Generally, your artificially intelligent rivals behave in a fashion that harmonizes smartly with their descriptions and skill levels. Indeed, the game works hard to deliver distinct playing styles and diversity. In this way, Friday Night 3D Pool stays fresh when similar games have already grown stale."
Gord Goble - GameSpot 15 March 2004
The two Classic Compendium packs gained this review from the GizWiki, the first wiki dedicated to the Gizmondo handheld multimedia device:
"Are you a fan of the classic games?...Well this is the game pack for you.... "
"...the easy 1 button controls (D-Pad & Play is all you need to play...with the R and L buttons letting you get to the menus) made it simple to see what you had to do..."
"...All of the games in both packs are packed with vibrant colour and detail that will make you wonder how a board game can look so good ... As well as the graphics being amazing the sound is brilliant as well. Well made soundtracks and very good sound effects add amazingly to the overall atmosphere of the game, with all of Classic Compendium Two's music being orientally themed. The multiplayer options are very good, allowing you to play most of the games in both packs with another person, simply by passing the Gizmondo to and fro when its your go... "
"...Overall these two packs are well worth the money. For the more adventurous gamer you may want to sway towards the second pack; where-as a more casual gamer may want to opt for the safer option in terms of ease and familiarity and go for the first pack. Although either, or both, are very good buys."

From Competition...
Our products are put to the ultimate test of direct tournament competition, where there are no kind responses! All games are competitive and the game engines that do well do so because they are good.
Our in-house program Shotest has achieved much, as the world's strongest Western Shogi program, coming 3rd among 60 competing programs in two years. In one of those years Shotest missed being World Champion by one game! In one competition, Shotest was the only program that could beat the new world champion, and in the last competition it retained its position as strongest Western Shogi program despite PC failure during the tournament.
